Greg Giovanini holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Le Moyne College and a Master of Arts in Music Theory and Composition with secondary studies in voice and piano from Long Island University (LIU). Greg鈥檚 areas of interest and expertise include musical theatre and composition. He is a vocalist, pianist, clarinetist, music director, composer and arranger and has had original works performed in the United States and internationally.

Greg was the founding music director for Le Moyne College鈥檚聽a听肠补辫辫别濒濒补听group, Fermata Nowhere, and later served as the group鈥檚 faculty moderator. At LIU, Greg worked as the academic assistant for music education and served as the assistant director for the Long Island Sound Vocal Jazz Ensemble (LISVJ). He has served as music director for many shows at Le Moyne College as well as Redhouse Arts Center, Peaceful Schools, Gifford Family Theatre and the Shylock Project.

He played keyboard for聽Kafka鈥檚 Metamorphosis: The Musical!聽(Montreal Fringe Festival, Capital Fringe and NYMF) and co-wrote聽Edgar in the Red Room, which recently debuted Off West End in London.聽Edgar聽received the Offies Ambassador鈥檚 Choice badge, won Best English Production at the 2024 Montreal Fringe Festival and was nominated for a Saturday Visiter Award for聽Adaptation of E.A. Poe鈥檚 Life or Works at the International Edgar Allan Poe Festival.

Career highlights include tours to Costa Rica and Switzerland with Long Island Sound Vocal Jazz, choral backup for Barry Manilow and performances at the Waldorf Astoria Starlight Room, Montreux Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, 54 Below and Radio City Music Hall.
